Trade Etching Direct etched and patinated the 97 brass panels that form Canadian artist Ian Kirkpatrick's stunning mural 'A Cunard Journey' onboard Cunard’s Queen Anne.
‘A Cunard Journey’ is an Art Deco celebration of the golden age of liner travel, situated in the heart of Queen Anne’s Grand Lobby.
Covering an area of 391 sq. m, the highly detailed etched panels were bent and assembled to create an impressive lenticular centerpiece.
This dynamic installation comes to life, showcasing three distinct artworks as guests traverse the space.
Lighting effects throughout the day bring out different qualities in the brass material, which appears light and welcoming in the morning, gradually becoming dimmer and more glamorous in the evening.
